Beyonce is considered to be one of the most talented artists whose talents go beyond just singing. She’s known for the wonderful lyrics she writes, her acting and modeling skills and expertise in record producing. Her brush with fame started off when she became the lead singer of Destiny’s Child, after which she released her solo album ‘Dangerously in Love’ in 2003. This young and talented singer won not one but five Grammy Awards for her music videos.
Beyonce has become one of the two female pop singers who have attained five ‘Hot 100 number one singles. Within this decade, she’s become the female pop icon to rule the top position for the maximum number of cumulative weeks – 37, to be precise. Beyonce is on the Forbes List of the ‘100 Most Powerful and Influential Celebrities in the World’. Not wishing to stop there, she’s third on Forbes list of top grosser in the musician’s category, and the number one best paid celebrities.
Riding on the success of her third solo album, ‘I am Sasha Fierce’, Beyonce announced in an interview that she was planning to launch a line of fashion wear that was going to reflect the essence of Sasha Fierce in every girl. In fact, when Beyonce played at the Sasha Fierce Fest at the Molson Amphitheatre on July 20, 2009, the explosion of fans holding up her fotos and swaying in time to the music more than conveyed the enthusiasm not only for the album but also for this gorgeous R&B singer.
