TMZ is reporting Sam Jones, Who played Clark Kent’s best friend on the show Smallville, was taken into custody by DEA agents who claim Jones was a “co-conspirator” in a series of major drug deals in 2008.

According to documents filed in federal court, the DEA claims Jones was the “Hollywood connection” in a plot to illegally purchase and distribute more than 10,000 pills of oxycodone.

Jones has been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. He’s due in federal court in L.A. later today. If convicted, Jones faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford was granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Daniel Giersch, Usmagazine.com has learned. The star, 40, claims the German entrepreneur has repeatedly harassed her and her family — including her mother and her nanny — according to documents filed at L.A.’s County Superior Court.

She alleges that he has followed them and “shows up unexpectedly to threaten and scare us,” the order, which is in effect for 21 days, says. Since splitting last year, the couple has been involved in a bitter custody battle over son, Hermes, 2, and daughter, Helena, 3 months.

Reports are circulating that Greys Anatomy star, Eric Dane and his wife actress, Rebecca Gayheart have a sex tape floating around. What makes this an even bigger story is that the tape apparently includes another woman! 

After a tape surfaced online of what appears to be “Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane, his wife Rebecca Gayheart, and another woman nude together, an attorney for the couple is speaking out and says that the tape should not be used for any commercial purposes. Dane’s lawyer Marty Singer said in a statement to “The Insider,” “This is simply a private consensual moment involving a married couple, shot several years ago, which was never intended to be seen by the public.”Singer also clarifies that “Although the participants are nude, the tape is not a ’sex tape.’” He goes on to stress that the tape is private and was made for his clients’ personal use.

Former Laguna Beach star, Jason Wahler was arrested after being kicked out of Ocean Ave Brewery and throwing his shoes at a bouncer. Whaler was asked to leave the establishment after getting into an altercation with a bouncer. In his frustration of being rremoved from the bar, Wahler took off his shoes and threw them into the bar at the bouncer. This is not Wahler’s first run in with the law, in fact he still has 11 days left of probation from a prior arrest.

Melissa Rycroft says being dumped by Jason Mesnick was probably for the best. “It seems like forever ago. It was forever go,” she said on Tuesday’s After the Rose special. “What’s kind of funny is where I’ve been, I haven’t really brought myself back to that point.” Rycroft is now engaged to Tye Strickland who she has previously dated before going on the Bachelorette. Melissa has also been doing some correspondence work for Good Morning America.

Seems like The Real Housewives of NYC star, Bethenny Frankel’s life couldn’t be better. Frankel reportedley just landed her own reality TV show, “The Skinny & The City,” and has recently become engaged… ir has she? There are now reports that Frankel’s engagment to real estate pro Jason Hoppy are a PR stunt.

Even celebrities are being affected by the economic crisis. Stephen Baldwin and his wife, Kennya, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on July 21. The couple is reportedly in $2.3 million worth of debt. The actor, who recently appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! owes around $1.2 million on two mortgages on his Upper Grandview, N.Y., property and more than $1 million in taxes, and has $70,000 in credit card debt, according to the legal documents that were filed in New York.

New reports have surfaced that actor, Morgan Freeman has been having an affair with steph-grandaughter, E’Dena. E’dena, now 27, was only 17 when the affair first started. The pair are not blood related. Light was shed on this bizarre relationship during a nasty divorce battle between Freeman and his wife of 25 years Myrna. Freeman has also ended a longtime affair with but his mistress, Mary Joyce Hays. Freeman is trying to keep his divorce out of the public eye so even more sordid details of his life wil not come out. However at this point whatever else comes out probably can’t get much worse than what is already being reported.
