Actor Corey Haim was pronounced dead at St Joesphs Medical Center in LA at 2:15 this morning. Haim, who is best known for his role in the cult classic “The Lost Boys” and for his friendship with fellow actor Corey Feldman, was experiencing flu like symptoms for the past few days when he collapsed at his mothers home a little before 1am.

A scheduled autospy will provide more information on the causes of Haim’s death, which as of right now is being determined as an accidental overdose.

A new Kardashian will soon be entering the spotlight. Kendall Jenner, 14 daughter of Kris and Bruce Jenner  recently signed on to Wilhelmina Modeling Agency as a teen. She’s already landed a campaign with hip American chain Forever 21.

According to InTouch Weekley, just hours after news broke that her fiancée, Casey Johnson, had passed away, Tila Tequila turned to her Twitter page to express her grief. “This is a very heartbreaking time for me. I just want some privacy as I deal with the loss of my Fiancé [sic] Casey Johnson. [My] heart is shredded,” the Shot at Love reality star tweeted. Tila and Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey announced their plans to wed in an online video after a whirlwind romance in early December. “We are engaged and very excited about starting our life together,” Casey recently said of her relationship with Tila. The heiress’ life was cut all too short at the age of 30 when she was discovered dead in her LA home on January 4. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

Former Today show host Bryant Gumbel has lung cancer.

While guest co-hosting Live With Regis & Kelly Tuesday morning, Gumbel , 61, revealed that he had surgery last month to remove a malignant tumor in his chest. He said that part of his lung was removed, and he will be seeing his surgeon next week. “We had told a few people, we told my family, obviously. I even kept it from my staff at Real Sports,” he said. “So I’m okay for the time being. I’m hoping they greenlight me to play golf again.”

Shayne Lamas was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Venice, Calif., around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

“Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing,” Lamas, 24, tells E! News. “However, the breathalyzer indicated that I was over the legal limit of blood alcohol content and was arrested onsite. I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment. I have always strived to be a role model for my friends, family and fans and have never nor will ever condone drinking and driving. I apologize for all those I have disappointed, including myself.” She is due in court Dec. 9 for the misdemeanor charge.

Hills star Stephanie Pratt might go to jail. Pratt, 23, was formally charged Wednesday with suspicion of driving under the influence, TMZ reports. Her potential sentence: up to six months in jail and a $ 1,000 fine. Pratt was arrested (with $ 5000 bail) in the early hours of Oct. 18 after leaving castmate Holly Montag’s birthday shindig at LA club Empire. Two breathalyzer tests registered .08 and .09; the legal limit is .08.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are used to being hit on — not hit. But that’s exactly what happened to them, courtesy of the Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch, according to TMZ.com. Law enforcement sources tell us Green’s Hollywood Hills home was burglarized during the string of celeb break-ins. Various items were taken, including Green’s recreational gun, which was locked up.

As for Fox, who spends a lot of time at Green’s, all the Burglar Bunch allegedly took were clothes — including several of Megan’s signature t-shirts. Green, who has been shooting a movie in NYC, didn’t even know he was hit. Sources say cops retrieved the stolen goods and returned them to him last week

She may have just moved in to Melrose Place, but Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is already being evicted. The actress, who plays the mysterious new tenant Violet on the CW drama, and her co-star Colin Egglesfield will no longer be part of the series come January. “They took it like professionals. When you go into a show you never know what’s going to evolve and what the possibilities are,” executive producer Todd Slavkin said of Ashlee and Colin’s reactions to the news of their dismissal.

‘NSync fans shouldn’t hold their breath for a band reunion, singer Chris Kirkpatrick says. “Everybody’s going in their own direction,” the singer, who is now performing with the band Nigels 11, tells Usmagazine.com. “I don’t know if this the perfect time for us to say ‘let’s do a record or tour.’ You should go to a fortune teller and ask her. I can’t tell.” Kirkpatrick, who says he keeps in touch with all four of his band mates — Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake — insists there is no bad blood between the group, who announced a “temporary hiatus” in 2002.

“We all have a place in the band,” he tells Us. “All the guys are doing their thing. But Justin’s [specific rise to] fame didn’t shock me. I would love to be touring arenas like he does, but there’s no resentment. He’s amazing at what he does.” Fatone and Bass will join Kirkpatrick as he hosts a series of Halloween-themed events later this month to benefit The Chris Kirkpatrick Foundation, formed by the singer to raise funds for healthcare and education programs to benefit underprivileged children.
