Marshall Bruce Mathers III aka Eminem aka Slim Shady is one of the best known rap artistes in the world. His album The Slim Shady LP put him firmly in the public eye and won him a Grammy. The music and lyrics of the next album The Marshall Mathers LP also won a Grammy.
Eminem turned producer with his own record label, Shady Records and won another Grammy with his third album The Eminem Show. These records have sold more than 75 Million copies. He has also acted in the Hollywood movie 8 Mile and written about his struggles with poverty, drugs, the law and fame in his autobiography.
Eminem was married twice to Kimberley Anne Scott and has a daughter with her. After a long break Eminem’s new hit single Crack a Bottle went to number one on the billboard charts early this year. He has also just released his latest album Relapse.
