Actor Corey Haim was pronounced dead at St Joesphs Medical Center in LA at 2:15 this morning. Haim, who is best known for his role in the cult classic “The Lost Boys” and for his friendship with fellow actor Corey Feldman, was experiencing flu like symptoms for the past few days when he collapsed at his mothers home a little before 1am.

A scheduled autospy will provide more information on the causes of Haim’s death, which as of right now is being determined as an accidental overdose.

Jane Krakowski plays needy, perpetually single drama queen Jenna on 30 Rock — but in real life, Krakowski has landed her man! A rep for the actress, 41, told US magazine, “Jane Krakowski and Robert Godley are thrilled to announce that they are engaged to be married.  Mr. Godley proposed to Ms. Krakowski over the holidays.” The couple have reportedly been dating for over a year and have yet to set a wedding date. “She’s very happy!” a source told Us. It will be the Tony-winning actress’ first time at the altar.

A new Kardashian will soon be entering the spotlight. Kendall Jenner, 14 daughter of Kris and Bruce Jenner  recently signed on to Wilhelmina Modeling Agency as a teen. She’s already landed a campaign with hip American chain Forever 21.

According to InTouch Weekley, just hours after news broke that her fiancée, Casey Johnson, had passed away, Tila Tequila turned to her Twitter page to express her grief. “This is a very heartbreaking time for me. I just want some privacy as I deal with the loss of my Fiancé [sic] Casey Johnson. [My] heart is shredded,” the Shot at Love reality star tweeted. Tila and Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey announced their plans to wed in an online video after a whirlwind romance in early December. “We are engaged and very excited about starting our life together,” Casey recently said of her relationship with Tila. The heiress’ life was cut all too short at the age of 30 when she was discovered dead in her LA home on January 4. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

Former Today show host Bryant Gumbel has lung cancer.

While guest co-hosting Live With Regis & Kelly Tuesday morning, Gumbel , 61, revealed that he had surgery last month to remove a malignant tumor in his chest. He said that part of his lung was removed, and he will be seeing his surgeon next week. “We had told a few people, we told my family, obviously. I even kept it from my staff at Real Sports,” he said. “So I’m okay for the time being. I’m hoping they greenlight me to play golf again.”

Eastwick star Sara Rue is the newest spokesperson for Jenny Craig. The 31-year-old actress recently told People magazine that she can’t wait to start the program. “My weight has fluctuated my whole life, and because I’ve been on television since I was 11 years old, everyone has seen it,” she said. “I think like so many women in this country I have a problem controlling what I eat sometimes based on my emotional health.” Bertinelli, who lost 40 pounds on Jenny Craig, told the magazine that Rue “is me three years ago. She’s every woman who’s ever started a diet.” She will be a good spokesperson because, “she’s real. She’s honest.” Rue’s initial weight loss goal is 30 pounds. Then, she says, “we’ll see how my body looks, how I feel, and go from there.” Her first post-weight loss goal? “Rock climbing or wind surfing!” Rue says. “The things that I’m just too intimidated the size I am now to do.”

She filed for divorce from Deryck Whibley just last month, but Avril Lavigne has already found a new man: Lindsay Lohan’s ex, Wilmer Valderrama. “They have been friends since working together on Fast Food Nation in 2005, but things heated up last month,” an insider told Life & Style. “One of their first dates was Oct. 29 at Nobu in West Hollywood.” Avril, 25, and Wilmer, 29, took things public at LA club Wonderland last Saturday. “She had her hand on his knee and they were whispering in each other’s ear, laughing,” says a witness. “They even closed the club, sneaking out just after 2.”

Shayne Lamas was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Venice, Calif., around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

“Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing,” Lamas, 24, tells E! News. “However, the breathalyzer indicated that I was over the legal limit of blood alcohol content and was arrested onsite. I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment. I have always strived to be a role model for my friends, family and fans and have never nor will ever condone drinking and driving. I apologize for all those I have disappointed, including myself.” She is due in court Dec. 9 for the misdemeanor charge.

After months of not addressing her growing bump, Rebecca Gayheart opened up about the impending addition to her family with husband Eric Dane. “We’ve always wanted to be parents. I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I’ll be a good mom. We’re absolutely looking forward to it!”
