Olsen Twins
Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Fuller Olsen are best known as the Olsen twins. Their first appearance on television came when they were just one year old and they played the character Michelle Tanner in a shared role on “Full House”.
The Olsen twins are savvy business women with their own company called Dualstar. They have two highly successful fashion lines, a beauty range and have been ranked collectively as the eleventh richest women in the entertainment industry. The Olsen twins frequently appear in movies featuring twins, are a popular focus of interest in the tabloids and are closely monitored for their fashion decisions.
The Olsen twins have been given a highly respectable fashion accolade by being two of only thirty ones designers to be inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America. They will be formally handed their accolade in a ceremony in October 2009.
The Olsen twins are also due to release a coffee table book entitled “Influence” this autumn. The book features people that the Olsen twins have found influential and interesting. It features interviews with the people that have inspired them, many stunning pictures of the twins and some accounts from their lives so far.
